Who We Are.
At Scorched Stories, we give a voice to those who have lived through the devastation of natural disasters; specifically, the Los Angeles wildfires. Through in-depth interviews and firsthand accounts, we document the human side of these disasters—stories of survival, loss, resilience, and recovery.
Our mission is to preserve these experiences, not just as records of history, but as lessons for the future. By amplifying the voices of survivors, firefighters, and community members, we aim to foster awareness, spark conversations about wildfire preparedness, and honor the strength of those affected.
Why We Do This.
Wildfires don’t just burn landscapes; they reshape lives. The stories we collect serve as a reminder of the real impact behind the headlines- families rebuilding, communities coming together, and individuals finding hope in the ashes.
